Thunderbird Park, Skywalk and Glow Worms Gold Coast

Ride in the famous tram style Trolley on this fun filled day for the whole family with kids or the big kid at heart. You can meet us at our depot or combine transfers from the Gold Coast, experience the big three Tamborine attractions and lunch in a fun filled four hour tour.

We will start the day with a visit to Thunderbird Park for ThunderEgg Fossicking at the amazing Thunderbird Park. Fossick for your own treasures in the World's largest mine of Thundereggs.

Followed by the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk. You depart through the Rainforest Eco Gallery and begin the adventure on a spectacular elevated walkway through the beautiful middle and upper canopies of the rainforest. The walkway is a stable, high-tech steel structure enabling visitors to explore these canopies in a safe and secure way. It descends gradually to the lower canopy and follows points of interest including rockpools and waterfalls, a butterfly lookout, local history enclosure and sheltered rest areas along the way until reaching the amazing Cantilever. This is a 40 metre long span soaring 30 metres above the valley, with spectacular views over the creek and the rainforest canopies below. Finally the walk returns along the rainforest floor to the Centre.

A picnic lunch at one of beautiful national parks is followed by our final destination is the ever glowing Glow Worm caves where you are taken on a 25 minute guided tour of the cave where over 7,000 glow worms light up the completely dark enclosure. This is the largest colony of Glow Worms in Australia and New Zealand. It is amazing!

Finish at Granny Macs for the best fudge you've ever tasted.
